Get to know us before your visit

Suzanne was born in Ireland and moved to France in 1982, where she undertook a course in Hotel Management. After having worked for various hotel groups in France and Monaco, she moved to England in 1991 to continue working in the hotel industry. We met, in 1995, whilst Suzanne was working in Bath.

Kevin was born in Bath, Somerset, with an inherent love of the countryside. After training as a watchmaker and antique clock restorer, followed by many years in the financial services industry. He decided to change direction by taking an Honours Degree in Environmental Science at Bath University.

We decided to move to the Dordogne/Lot area of France, when we fell in love with the unique Perigord architecture and the abundance of wonderful countryside and it’s wildlife, during a holiday here in 2001.

We moved to Le Roucou at the end of 2004, we love it and look forward to sharing it with you.
