The limestone geology that characterises the area, has produced, through millennia, numerous spectacular caves and sinkholes. Take the opportunity to travel through amazing caverns and underground river systems. The famous cave paintings of pre-historic man can be viewed at sites such as Les Eyzies and Cougnac.
